French teachers from Alliance Française establishments across the Pacific Region were invited by the Institut Français to partake in a training session on task-based learning at the Alliance française de Canberra, Australia earlier this month.  This program was lead by a trainer from CAVILAM, Vichy, in France.  Miss Paulini Cava and Miss Ashika Singh, of Suva, had the opportunity to participate and represent the Fiji Islands at this seminar.  The information and ideas extracted from this program will help to promote French language and culture in Fiji.
